Prayer for Breaking Chains of Bondage in Jesus Christ name

Seek freedom from bondage and deliverance through this prayer invoking the name of Jesus Christ. Trust in the power of His blood and the authority of His Word to break every chain and stronghold in your life.

Heavenly Father,

I come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, recognizing His sacrifice on the cross and the power of His shed blood to break every chain of bondage in my life. Your Word in Hebrews 9:22 tells me that without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. I plead the precious blood of Jesus over my life, knowing that it is through His blood that I find forgiveness and freedom.

Lord, I acknowledge that I am bound by chains of bondage—whether it be addiction, fear, doubt, sin, or any other stronghold. Your Word in John 8:36 assures me that if the Son sets me free, I will be free indeed. I claim this promise over my life, believing that Jesus has the power to break every chain.

Father, I repent of any sins that have allowed these chains to take hold in my life. Your Word in Acts 3:19 calls me to repent and turn to you, that my sins may be wiped out, and times of refreshing may come from your presence. I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing now, Lord.

I renounce and reject every lie and deception of the enemy that has kept me bound. Your Word in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells me that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. I take authority over every stronghold in my life, in Jesus' name.

Lord Jesus, you have all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18), and I invite you to rule and reign in every area of my life. I surrender every chain of bondage into your hands, knowing that you are able to break them and set me free.

I declare the truth of Galatians 5:1 over my life: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." I claim this freedom in Jesus' name.

Thank you, Lord, for your love and grace that sets us free. May your name be glorified as I walk in the freedom and victory that is mine through Jesus Christ.

In His powerful name, I pray, Amen.
